The Happiest Days of Your Life is coming!

No, the title is not a grammatical error - The Happiest Days of Your Life by John Dighton, is our main play this season. Many of our audience will be familiar with the story as it was famously made as a film in 1950 starring Margaret Rutherford and Alastair Sim, with a young Joyce Grenfell - in several respects it was a precursor of the more anarchic St. Trinian's films.

Set after World War II, this delightful farce is about what happens when a boys' school receives the news that they are to billet another school … which turns out to be all female … and events are complicated by the arrival of the parents. A charming, whimsical show to perk up a November evening. Performances are from Wednesday 8 November to Saturday 11 November at 8pm nightly, with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.

Tickets are £8 on the door and can be reserved by calling 01708 782118
